Fanshawe College has an annual viewbook which is used to promote the college and its programs.
Finding a way to stand out amongst competitors school publications, the inspiration with this viewbook was to be an interactive experience. The cover was made reflective to be a play on the tag line "see your potential". When students picked up the book, they would see themselves.
On the first spread (which read "Add dimension to your life. Discover the Fanshawe experience.") a pair of anaglyphic (red/blue) 3D glasses were found with instructions to put the glasses on for anywhere that had the 'rated 3D' symbol. 3D graphics were scattered through the book giving students the feeling of seeing the facilities up close and having trade tools at their finger tips.
The stand out cover and 3D elements made the book an interactive experience.
